Thanks to all those who entered out recent DT call, it would have been wonderful to have added all of you to the team but we had to narrow it down to only 3 and the following 3 crafters are the ones the team voted for - a warm welcome to you all!
Watch out for some great guest dt designers over the next few months too :o)
I have been a crafter of one sort or another for as long as I can remember - I guess that I am a Jack of All Trades, Master of None! Over the years I've done cross stitch, dress making, knitting and am now teaching myself to crochet. I am qualified in floristry, although this is a hobby for me, not a profession. I also make mohair and miniature teddy bears and was lucky enough to have been taught this craft by a very talented British bear maker.
Card making and stamping remains my favourite past time and I have a huge collection of rubber stamps, together with a vast array of digi stamps. Like many crafters, I am obsessed with buying design papers and could probably open a small shop with the collections I have. I like to keep my hands and my mind busy so if I'm not checking out the latest craft blogs, I can always be found with some stamping, knitting or sewing very nearby to me!
Hi I'm Kevin, I am married , I have one grown up son and one step son both no longer at home, we have 4 cats. I started crafting just over 4 years ago when I had to pack up work due to ill health. My wife was an arts and craft teacher so she got me started, I paint I also make salt dough figures, but my favourite is card making, I am completely blind in my left eye so it takes me a bit longer to colour my images and construct my cards but I get a great deal of pleasure creating them.
I am very happy to be joining this talented team and seeing all of your wonderful creations.

Catherine's Handmade Cards
I am married and have a little dog called Tessa (who is not quite as cute as she looks lol...).
I work as an unqualified social worker with adults with learning disabilities. I am also studying through the Open University for the Social Work degree and have one year left before I can call myself a social worker.
I started card making in 2007 when going through a difficult time in my life and it has grown from there. I am lucky enough to have a very understanding husband who has not minded me taking over a room in the house as my craft/study room. Obviously far more craft stuff than study stuff!!!!!
I would spend every minute of every day crafting if I could, absolutely love it and love the way it can totally de-stress me after a hard day at work....
We'll all be back tomorrow with some fab new Christmas digi stamps and a great new challenge - so please pop back and join in with the fun then.
